i am Steve Weyman from Bristol England and been playing guitar since I was 9 years of age and doing paid gigs in bands from age 14 playing covers and originals. I am a bit older ( quite a bit older now ! I am not gigging at the moment . I am teaching guitar and concentrating more on writing and recording in m y little home studio. Don't write in a particular style, it comes out how it comes out !

Story behind the song
The lyrics have never been so poignant to present times with whats happening in the world .Heartbreaking. I dedicate this song to all the brave soldiers and innocent civilians fighting and fleeing oppression in Ukraine and anywhere else in the world.

This is very good Steve. Your vocals are spot on. You have the sound... and the delivery absolutely bang on. The guitar tone is perfect. I used to have this album...like lots of us did. Excellent. I remember what a fine album it is. Your version is very very good.

Dire Straits :) Like many Rock bands, we used to do "Money For Nothing" - loved the song, but didn't like the lyrics - especially after a long 5 sets :^)) This cover is a beauty Steve - excellent performance & production!
