Various violin and fiddle influences meet the destruction of analog.
This is a place to post the many musical experiments and compositions I have my hands in, ranging from original orchestral scores, progressive fiddle tunes, electronic music, and tone studies with different effects, instruments, and devices. My main instruments and equipment: -a 5 string acoustic violin, John Silakowski- #38 -a 100 year old German fiddle converted to a baritone -a customized 6 string fretted Viper by Wood Violins. Blue Burl goodness -a Gibson ES-335... classic tone :) -a large modular synth by synthesizers.com -various analog filter effects and processors including several Moogs -A Boss Gt-8, Harmonically "Radified" by the converger to remove all that nasty digital fizz. Various acoustic Guitars. I love to talk about gear, recording techniques, experimental techniques, Music Theory, and the like...

Story behind the song
Having a Delay loop is not "technically" possible on the Boss Gt-8. The process to get the delay trails to modulate involved 1- use the stereo delay function. Delay A, (right) i set to 0 ms, 9aka the dry signal). I set the entire delay's dry signal to ZERO as well. 2- Delay B (left) I set to have my external effects pedal modulate the number of feedbacks. depending on the filter effect used, I may use more... then set the time how I wanted it. 3- changed external loop input to mix, rather than replace. 4- sent the Left delay to my Moogerfooger MuRF and then back to the external effects in. With the loop as a mix point.. the modulated delay signal was mixed in with the dry. 5- changed the signal chain with this order (or so) Loop, volume pedal, delay, reverb. Putting the loop before or after the preamp created a whole new batch of mutlation possibilities. 6- set the MuRF in the loop, trying to find the resonance spots. There is a dry path to the main out, as well as a delay loop that only effects the delay signal. THis is not as good or as "pure" a signal path as a extermal loop on a moogerfooger.. but I am not complaining. (other than the time to set it up):)
