Okay, okay, so I'm just one guy. But in the studio, I'm an entire band. I play electric and 6 & 12 string acoustic guitars, mandolin, bass, keyboards, and drums plus do all the vocals and write all the music. I'm self taught and don't read music except for maybe chord charts. Well maybe not entirely self taught-mom got me started since she was a guitarist/mandolinist herself. But she played by ear too so guess that's where I got it. Not that I didn't do my time in various bands. The last, Legacy, was a full time road band until 1983 when I finally got to a space in my life where I told myself there's got to be a better way than just playing covers for a living. And then I found digital recording. Way cool...........

Lyrics
©2006 Words and Music by Mark Cullen Io Music Ltd. All Rights Reserved Indigo moon Knows her solitary darkness like a tomb She longs to be anywhere Shades of maroon Stain the leaves of her dwindling mood Chilled reason residing here Drifting to blue Scraping hope from her palette of gloom Why did she ever care? Was anyone ever there? So alone She remembers the radiant days It seemed so real in many ways Now all flown Sinking down She's turned around She takes it now But what of her longing Is it too soon to drown? Living fast you've seen her walking past But never noticed a walk too slow Another face lost in a faceless race Nothing that different from what you know While every step she makes she hides the toll it takes The pain is clawing at her waning resolve But she keeps trudging on Sad eyes blinded and drawn Her fear she hangs on a well worn dream But the emptiness weighs a ton Loneliness is just another tint Of all the colours she's come to know Sharp as winter blowing ever on There's a secret side She knows could make her strong She can hear the echoes Weaving through a song But it feels so out of touch Maybe wanting is just too much Living fast you've seen her walking past But never knew she was there at all Everytime she falls she's like a broken doll Chipped and cracked beyond repair She just limps on the run 'Til the hurting's all numb The fear she hangs on a well worn dream As the journey drags on and on Loneliness is just another tint of all the colours she's come to know Old as mountains peering through a haze A dim faith holds her tired needs at bay As the lost days steal her surreal protege' It feels so out of touch Maybe living is just too much. Indigo moon Knows her solitary madness in this room Shadows dead everywhere Indigo moon hiding silently the light for her cocoon the walls fading shapeless and bare Was anyone ever there? Indigo moon came too soon Indigo moon Ever immune Indigo moon
