The London Royal Ballet choreographer, Will Tuckett, wrote this 5'27" ballet for the Ballet Black principal dancers, Sarah Kundi and Jade Hale Christofi.
I did not win the competition, but had great fun composing my offering. I found the piece beautifully and sensitively danced and have scored 'Depouillage' for a small orchestra, including pianoforte, strings, harp and bassoon.
