Story behind the song
Hey all! In this video I'm testing the coolest app you could possibly find for guitar amps and effects on iPad and iPhone: the JamUp Pro XT Amps and Effects by Positive Grid. This app is just amazing and the signature amps recently added have made it even more appealing, (that "Ola War" amp of Ola Englund's gives me the chills). I really feel astounded by the level of quality guitar sound one can get from this app. As a matter of fact, all guitars and bass are without any post-processing on the video to see for yourself how good they sound and sit in the mix. I'm using the phenomenal "Ola War" beast-of-an-amp head of Positive Grid's JamUp Pro, Keith Merrow's awesome Noise Gate making sure silence will be maintained at all costs in-between tight chuggs and staccato notes (we're talking about ninja-silence level here), and finally, my beloved Strandberg Guitarworks Boden 8. This time I'm deciding to go all-tablet and I'm recording guitars on Garageband using the Audiobus app, and oh my, you'll be amazed by the quality you can get out of JamUp Pro. Everything sound so sharp!! And the "Ola War" amp definitely plays a huge part on this. Oh by the way, I'm playing an excerpt from stuff I've been writing for my new album, incase anyone wonders.
