Story behind the song
Over the previous months I have been gathering and working for my project "It Dwells Within" on some new material for a 2nd album and I decided to share a little clip with you all just to show you what the new album is going to sound like. So far I am very happy with how things are progressing as far as composition/drum sound/ guitar sound and mix/master sound in general. For the guitar sound you hear on this clip I used my Axe Fx II by Fractal Audio Systems to tone match the PRE-AMP off of my ENGL Steve Morse Signature 100W All-Tube amp. It was a bit tricky but the result came out to be very rewarding.....to my ears at least and as far as my personal taste in guitar sound is concerned ;-)
